This is a down payment assistant program. Families can qualify for up to $40,000 toward the purchase of their first home.

Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program 

This is a low interest rate loan that is offered to low-income homeowners who are in need of repairs such as new windows, roof replacements, heating and air units, etc. This program is offered in the following jurisdictions: *Calaveras County *Lincoln *Placer County *Citrus Heights *Ione *Jackson *William *Colusa *Marysville *Dixon *Suisun *Yolo County-Unincorporated Areas *West Sacramento—offered through the city of Wes Sac.

Self-Help/Sweat Equity Program

This is a program where families volunteer 40 hours a week working in groups of 6-8 families building their home. The process is  generally  10-12 months.  Eight hours are required on each Saturday and Sunday.  Their work is their down-payment.
