About AB490: This law allows a child that has been removed from their home by Juvenile Dependency Court (CPS) and placed into foster care to remain in their "school of origin." If you are a parent of a child that has become a ward of Juvenile Dependency Court, then you as a parent have the "educational rights" and respectfully request that the court keep your children in their own school. Parents and your attorney must have a court order to carry out your child's best educational interest. For more information and to prepare for raising this request at your next court date click HERE.
