 food bank outreach. Each listing is ranked starting with the least restrictive proof of address eligibility. These  are all of the

 currently known emergency food bank and food locker distributions in South Sacramento, Del Paso Heights, North Highlands,

 Rancho Cordova, listed in an order that may best meet your emergency food needs. We have  included words in  "blue"  that  you may follow through with that can provide information that is more detailed for you to use, so feel free to explore  the  links

Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services

Food Assistance (stationary)
  • Hours: M/T/Th/F 10am-1:30pm and W 4pm-7pm
  • Serves residents of zip codes 95811, 95814, and 95816-95820, and the homeless.
  • Residents must provide photo ID for adults and any kind of ID for children in their homes, plus proof of residency such as a piece of mail (not junk mail) or a rental agreement/lease. Homeless must have IDs as previously stated, and let the volunteer/manager know that they’re transient.
  • Provides 3-5 days of take-home groceries (including USDA) to residents, and whatever is possible for homeless based on their situation. Clients can come once each calendar month.

*The Sacramento Food Bank provides a "Mobile Food Bank Distribution" offering nine differant days and convieneant locations throughout North Sacramento/Del Paso Heights area.
