Below are six subsidized transitional housing programs, each require a intake referral before you can enter. Individuals can call the programs to find out more about how to achieve residency, they are glad to help. There are additional transitional housing programs for pregnant women, AIDS/HIV, mental health and foster youth. A foster youth may call the program and talk to the intake worker to help you through the process. Last, there are some sliding scale and low-income clean and sober transitional housing listed if you are not eligible for a subsidized program. We have included words in "blue" that you can follow for resources that provide more detailed information, so feel free to explore. (916) 916922-9335 Designed to keep families together during the substance abuse recovery process, this one-year CalWorks-referral program is designed for couples with children, as well as single parents. During their residency at our 14-unit complex, parents in recovery are provided aftercare support, life-skills training, and permanent housing referrals.
