Sacramento Community Resources for Families support service for family, parenting education, parenting classes, English learning and family resource centers for Mom's, Dad's and any individual. Most offer a computer room with the Internet, fax and copy machines, some help with transportation, provide playcare during your visit and even counselors to assist you on an individual basis. The FREE North Sacramento Family Resource Center offers a variety of support services including: Provides resources for pregnant mothers and families with children under 6 years of age. Expanding to families with children under 12 years of age in January 2015. Community resources for Parenting classes, postpartum support group, Spanish-speaking mothers' support group, stress relief, parent-child activity workshops and more. (included specialized classes for expecting parents, fathers, and parents of teens)-Nurturing Family Home Visitation Program-School Readiness Services.

NSR is offering many free Parent Teacher Resource Room & Preschool programs for children 0-5 age group. Natomas Educational Center programs will be held at Natomas School Readiness’ Parent Teacher Resource Room. Clothes Closet-come on over to the Parent Teacher Resource Room anytime and look through our clothes closet. It is filled with clothes, shoes, and toys for children 0-5 years old. Often we have equipment for babies, too (high chairs, mobiles, bedding, etc). We are open every day from 8-4 and you are welcome to come on over and shop! v New Family Resource Room at Jefferson.
Come and check out our new resource room at Jefferson (2001 Pebblewood Drive). We are located in room 3 (across from the Kindergarten rooms). We have a clothes closet, a lending library and many resources just like we do at our room at American Lakes. This is also where many of our classes, workshops and playgroups will be held this year. If you are a Jefferson family or live in the area, come on by and check it out!
