FREE community center resources, workshops, and events for families in the North Sacramento area. The family resource center offers a variety of support services including: Parent Time Outs-Certified Parenting Classes (included specialized classes for expecting parents, fathers, and parents of teens)-Nurturing Family Home Visitation Program-School Readiness Services (including an Enrollment Fair and weekly reading groups)-Parent Groups such as Stress Relief, Creative Me, Book Club, and Conversational English-Child Groups such as Baby and Me, Toddler Time, and Little Geniuses-Year Round Holiday Festivities

NSR is offering many free Parent Teacher Resource Room & Preschool programs for children 0-5 age group. All of the programs will be held at Natomas School Readiness’ Parent Teacher Resource Room. Clothes Closet-come on over to the Parent Teacher Resource Room anytime and look through our clothes closet. It is filled with clothes, shoes, and toys for children 0-5 years old. Often we have equipment for babies, too (high chairs, mobiles, bedding, etc). We are open every day from 8-4 and you are welcome to come on over and shop! v New Family Resource Room at Jefferson.
Come and check out our new resource room at Jefferson (2001 Pebblewood Drive). We are located in room 3 (across from the Kindergarten rooms). We have a clothes closet, a lending library and many resources just like we do at our room at American Lakes. This is also where many of our classes, workshops and playgroups will be held this year. If you are a Jefferson family or live in the area, come on by and check it out!

Community center computer room, fax, tutoring in literacy, math, reading and writing, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, assistance with job searches, resume building workshops, computer basics classes in English and Spanish, aerobic exercise classes and more. Free community support services and open to Sacramento County residents over the age of 18.
