Hello, I have made a list of free parenting classes in Sacramento, or low-cost for special days, including times locations and contact information. You do not have to get a referral to enroll,

the only requirement is a desire to be the best parent you can. Most parenting classes include free play care, Spanish, positive parenting, effective parenting with additional parenting skills and education classes. Any Dad or Mom that wants to be "the best parent they can" may voluntarily attend any of the classes that have an opening. Parent Orientation Session
Go to the Regional Office Park, 3331 Power Inn Road, Sacramento, CA 95826 map (Clock Tower) on Friday 11:00 a.m. parenting class orientation even if you have not yet been required by Juvenile Dependency Court (CPS) to take a parenting class, it will give you a registration and parenting class referral, which puts you a step ahead of your caseworker.

Parents with medi-cal. You do have to have a case worker to be eligible for ACCESS services. If you want to make a self-referral for participation in their parenting classes/services serving mental health challenges, then you can call ACCESS and describe your situation to them and they will determine your eligibility.
